Police say a possible self inflicted death note was found Enron later collapsed amid federal probes and a large shareholder suit naming Baxter among others.
Otto Nuss a 63 year old Pennsylvania school bus driver appeared in Greenbelt Maryland court on kidnaping charges after allegedly taking 13 children on a 115 mile detour to Maryland with a loaded rifle by his side He denied total involvement saying he is not insane Public defender said Nuss believes he is not fully responsible for bringing the children to Maryland and that there was a setup Police found 48 weapons at his home and 75 rounds of ammunition on the bus He surrendered near Washington after telling students he was taking them on a field trip to the capital He had recently sought psychiatric treatment and had stopped his medication The Exeter Bible Church service prayed for him as students returned home with their parents after the detour ended in Landover Hills Maryland
Cambridge Mass The father who beat Michael Costin to death at a sons hockey practice was sentenced to six to ten years in prison. The 44 year old Thomas Junta pleaded self defense while Costin’s 13 year old son urged the judge to teach him a lesson. Junta will be eligible for parole after six years.
