TVA moves to produce tritium at Sequoyah and Watts Bar
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has not yet approved but TVA advances plans to make tritium for nuclear weapons at Sequoyah and Watts Bar plants in Tennessee. The program, previously at Savannah River Site until 1968, targets late 2008 for hydrogen isotope production and commercial electricity.

Former Enron executive found dead in apparent suicide
J Clifford Baxter a 43 year old former Enron vice chairman was found shot to death in a Mercedes Benz on a Houston suburb median near his home. Baxter had resigned last May amid questions over Enron accounting practices. The death was reported as an apparent death by own action in Houston.
