Date set for completion of S C Route 118 Bypass
Construction delays on the four mile long $7.1 million S C Route 118 Bypass on the Northside push completion about six months beyond the original target. Cherokee Construction Inc. project manager John Harmon says final asphalt should be applied by April 30, with earlier completion in October missed due to utilities and weather. The DOT imposes fines of 1400 per day for unfinished work while a time extension request is reviewed.
