Man walks across America to grant muscular dystrophy wishes

Mattes, a cross country walker, survived a 1984 crash that killed his wife and two children and later beat cancer and a heart attack. He now travels from Michigan to Florida promoting healthy living, selling nutritional products, and granting wishes to families with muscular dystrophy children, meeting over 40 families and relying on his dogs for companionship.
