Suspect Arraigned in Gloverville Woman Slaying

Kenneth L. Moyer, 24, of 64 Pecan Street, Gloverville, was arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department on a murder charge in the January 13 death of Idell Barton, 70. Barton’s burned mobile home on Pecan Street was found after a Langley Fire Department response. autopsy reports multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma. A related arson charge carried a $25,000 bond.
