Grace United Methodist to rebuild after July fire in North Augusta

Grace United Methodist Church plans a new larger building on the same site in North Augusta with groundbreaking expected early March and a 10 to 12 month construction period. Feltham S. James, Retired Minister, Dies at 78

Dr. Feltham S. James, 78, longtime chaplain at Aiken Community Hospital and former pastor of St. John's in Aiken, died yesterday at the Methodist Home in Greenwood after months of illness. He served churches across several South Carolina towns and was World War II a chaplain. Surviving are two daughters and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending with George Funeral Home.
