Air freshener death ruled as cause for Clemson student

Clemson University sophomore Thomas Gray Dickson Jr died November 20 from an overdose tied to Glade air freshener containing butane, authorities say. Pickens County Coroner Mitchell Davis confirmed the finding after Dickson collapsed in his Clemson dorm room and was pronounced dead at Baptist Medical Center in Easley.
