Growth reshapes Breezy Hill area and Aiken County districts
Growth brings new industrial demand to Breezy Hill Water and Sewer between Aiken and North Augusta. Since 1969 taps rose from 297 to over 5,500 and water production climbed from 392 million to about 815 million gallons by 2013. Population shifts spur district redistricting and voter turnout rises in Aiken County with 103,000 registered voters across 76 to 79 precincts.
