Woman killed as train strikes car near Elgin
A Kershaw County woman, Margaret Clark, was killed when her 1990 Buick Century was struck by a CSX freight train at a crossing about three miles north of Elgin. She was not wearing a seat belt and died of multiple injuries, said Coroner Johnny Fellers.
