Blind Blue Heeler Finds Home With Relentlessly Kind Officer
Weld County animal control officer Peter Steeves adopted Spock, a blind blue heeler, after his eviction owners surrendered him. Spock, now living with Steeves and his three dogs Xana Dexter Fonzi, bonds with his new family, learning stairs and routines with help from a fountain and baby gate to stay safe. Spock shows affection when Steeves touches him and often settles when they snuggle.
