Aiken Habitat for Humanity honors King's dream at reception
Aiken County Habitat for Humanity hosted a "Building the Dream" reception at the Aiken Municipal Building to honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and highlight efforts to expand home ownership for low income families in Aiken. South Aiken High Band fundraiser at Outback
South Aiken High School Band led by Monte Blackwell holds a lunch fundraiser today 11 30 a m to 1 30 p m at Outback Steakhouse to sponsor a trip to Orlando Florida. The event costs 15 per seat with steak or chicken and includes a side and drink. The band has been approved for music classes at Disney World and a recording session during spring break April 3 6.

Stooksbury Named Heart Walk Chair for CSRA 2006
Gary Stooksbury named chair of the 2006 CSRA Heart Walk set for March 4 at 9 a.m. with a $250,000 goal.
