Marietta, Fla. Family of Victim Involved in Car Crash
Coroner Sue Townsend reports Hearns has relatives in Marietta while his daughters are at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta. The other driver, Shaynena Katherine Lively of Augusta, 19, is in the Medical College of Georgia hospital with injuries and faces possible criminal warrants after authorities say she drove eastbound in the westbound lane with a revoked license and possible impairment.

Aiken Running Club Sets Races at State Park
The Aiken Running Club hosts a 50 kilometer ultradistance and 5K at Niken State Park on 1145 State Park Road this Saturday at 9 am. The 50K uses a flat multiloop 6.4 km circuit on paved and dirt roads. the 5K is a single paved loop. Entry is 15 dollars before race day and 20 dollars on race day for the 50K, 5 dollars for the 5K.
