Lunches of Love feeds Greenville kids and homeless
Former Greenville mortgage broker Sylvia Arthur started Lunches of Love in 2009 with four friends. The program moved from her kitchen to Holland Park Church delivering 40 to 50 lunches daily, later providing half sandwiches and fruit to Frazee Dream Center children after school and on Fridays bag lunches for weekend needs. Volunteers from Holland Park Church and the community sustain the effort, now aiding Frazee Center, Miracle Hill Ministries, and Renewal program participants, with meals rotating Saturdays to assist women recovering from abuse.
