Jury selection begins for retrial in 2012 gun store case
Jury selection is expected to start today in the retrial of Franklin Robinson, 29, charged with first degree burglary possession of a weapon during a violent crime and grand larceny in the Aug 9 2012 incident where a van crashed into Guns and Ammo Gunsmith in North Augusta. Co-defendant Eddie Stewart previously pleaded guilty and a mistrial was declared when the jury deadlocked. Early will preside in Aiken County Judicial Center with the 2 p.m. start.
