Student Pilot Flips Cessna During Misjudged Landing
A 24 year old student pilot from Shaw Air Force Base failed to land into the wind at Twin Lakes Executive Airpark in Graniteville causing his Cessna 152 to overshoot the runway and flip onto its back. Damage is estimated at 5000 to 10000 dollars. He escaped injury and instructor Al Henry reports about 35 flight hours.
