USC Aiken Graduation Gap Highlights Nontraditional Students

The University of South Carolina Aiken may show a lower four year graduation rate than other state publics, due to nontraditional students. A study by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education notes Citadel leads with 56 percent four year graduation for fall 1990 freshmen, Clemson 38 percent, USC Columbia 29.75 percent, while USC Aiken enrolled 411 in 1990 and only 60 graduates in four years.
