Renovation Reverie of the Norwoods House in Aiken
Dr and Mrs Charles Norwood host a Heart Fund Tea at their restored Augusta area home once owned by Joanne Woodward's family. The 1889 Charleston built house underwent four and a half years of renovation to restore period details, add a two story porch and brick wrought iron fence, and update kitchens and dining room while preserving its Charleston character. The Norwoods recall living with a power saw in the foyer and emphasize pride in sharing their work with guests.
