Hostage Crisis at Ossining Prison Continues
Gov. Mario Cuomo said 17 guards remained hostages as inmates at Ossining Correctional Facility submitted a list of requests. Negotiations began Sunday after a spontaneous uprising in Cell Block B left hostages safe with one minor injury. Cuomo stressed no decision would be made until all hostages are freed.

Aiken County School Board Adds New Members and Renames Zone Five
