Hostage Crisis at Ossining Prison Continues
Gov. Mario Cuomo said 17 guards remained hostages as inmates at Ossining Correctional Facility submitted a list of requests. Negotiations began Sunday after a spontaneous uprising in Cell Block B left hostages safe with one minor injury. Cuomo stressed no decision would be made until all hostages are freed.

Aiken County School Board Adds New Members and Renames Zone Five
Three new and three returning members will be installed at tomorrow night's meeting at Silver Bluff High School. Linda M. Clary, Robert H. Slay, and Rev. James Roland Smith join Sally Bigger, J.P.
