The Israeli government says it has not completed a disengagement proposal for Israeli and Egyptian forces on the Suez front and will submit it at Geneva talks. Towler Announces Candidacy For Aiken School Board

Emilie A. Towler assistant professor at the University of South Carolina Aiken Regional Campus has filed to run for the Aiken County Board of Education from Administrative Area No. 1 currently represented by Olin D. Osbon. The election is set for February 5. Osbon and Rev. Dr. Charles G. Perkins have already announced. Towler says private citizens must help build a better life.
