First 2014 Aiken County baby arrives as Reynolds family welcomes son
Baby Langston Reynolds weighing 10 pounds 14 ounces was born by cesarean in Augusta area at about 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The couple named Langston after a Alabama town, continuing a family tradition inspired by their love of the University of Alabama. The Reynolds started Head of the Giant Ministry in 2011 to aid the homeless, and their faith helped them grow their family. The first 2014 Aiken County baby had not yet arrived by press time, with ARMC offering a gift basket to the first newborn of the year. Amy Banton reports for the Aiken Standard.
