Fire alarms have risen, and older heating units in tight spaces pose higher fire risks. Car Plunges Into Pond Near Edgefield County
A four door 1983 Ford was found in a pond off South Carolina Highway 392 at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Witnesses saw a Hispanic male at the scene who later left with another person. The vehicle was not reported stolen and authorities continue search for the driver.
