Aiken residents enjoy diverse acts at 1997 arts event
Children and adults at the Aiken Center for the Arts and local venues admired a mix of performances. Highlights include a glow outfit karate demonstration by Lauren and Logan Glover, a hurdy gurdy concert by Geoffrey King, a Danny Storts stand-up act, and a magic show at St. Johns United Methodist Church. A volunteer opened a New Year note predicting playing cards drawn that night, stunning the crowd.
