Court Company Must Pay 136M Over Drug Marketing
South Carolina Supreme Court upheld penalties against Janssen Pharmaceutica Inc but cut the total to 136 million for deceptive marketing of Risperdal. The original 327 million award from a Spartanburg County jury was reduced after the court found part of the penalties fell outside the statute of limitations.
