Man charged with armed robbery waives extradition
Tim Richard Noland 25 of Charleston waived extradition in Aiken and was returned to Augusta by Richmond County investigators. He is held at the Augusta Richmond County Law Enforcement Center after being sought for Sunday evening's Western Sizzlin Steak House robbery on Gordon Highway. Police recovered 345 dollars in cash and pursued Noland through Montmorenci and Willis ton before his car overheated and burned partially in a swamp. No injuries were reported.
