Feds indict four in salmonella outbreak case
A federal grand jury indicted four former Peanut Corporation of America employees for conspiracy wire fraud and obstruction of justice over the 2005 to 2009 salmonella outbreak linked to recalls that sickened hundreds and killed nine. The defendants include Stewart and Michael Parnell and Georgia plant staffer Samuel Lightsey and Mary Wilkerson.
