Aiken County Public Works Director Alvin Bryan said heavy weekend rains damaged about six to eight dirt roads and forced patching for most of the week. Aiken Co-Op Halts Good Cents Program Temporarily

Aiken Electric Cooperative will pause the Good Cents energy program as of February 17 1995 affecting about 960 customers. The decision follows a rate increase for Good Cents homes and replaces discounts with flat monthly amounts for new and upgraded homes.
