Crackerneck wildlife area opens Saturdays in March
Crackerneck Wildlife Management Area and Ecological Reserve in Aiken County will open to the public on the first three Saturdays of March, with March 25 reserved for a youth hunt. Open for scouting, fishing, birding and other activities, the area spans 39,600 acres owned by the LIS Department of Energy, with access via the Brown Road gate and check station.
