Feb 16 bookings report names numerous inmates arrested and charged at Aiken County facility. Several entries reference bench warrants, alcohol or drug offenses, weapons charges, domestic violence, or theft. Some detainees remain held or awaiting warrants while others posted bonds or were released.

Aiken man Dominique Jashauwn Mays 24 was charged by the Aiken County Sheriff with attempted armed robbery possession of a weapon and marijuana and arrested after officers linked him to an armed robbery on Fairfield Street earlier this month. Witnesses described two black males and a black female involved. Mays was found nearby with a shotgun and pistol. He remains in custody and additional arrests are expected.
Aiken County and Aiken Department of Public Safety reports describe incidents including a Beech Island car with a suspicious temporary tag, a Jackson woman accusing a Warrenville woman of stealing a phone, a Graniteville man suspecting his son, a disorderly conduct charge after an assault on Daffodil Drive, break ins on Laurie Drive and Cherry Hill Drive, a student concealing something on East Pine Log Road, a severely low blood sugar incident after a traffic stop on Richland Avenue, theft from a Richland Avenue store, $4000 plus card use, a York Street juvenile episode breaking a vehicle window, and multiple vehicle break ins on Laurens Street.
