Aiken man charged in Hampton Avenue holdup
Aiken Public Safety officers arrested Marquis Hicks twenty on Hampton Avenue Thursday for his alleged role in the holdup of an individual on Hampton Avenue the evening of January twenty eight. Hicks faces armed robbery weapon during the commission of a violent crime and first degree assault and battery charges. Officers acted on an anonymous tip with help from the United States Marshals Operation Intercept Task Force.
