John and Charlotte Siers report a Tuesday night tornado-like event that destroyed their chicken coop and damaged a three-stall barn on S.C. 19. They estimate damages around $1,000. no animals were harmed.
An explosion damaged the Syrian Information Ministry in Damascus as ambulances and fire crews responded. Witnesses reported casualties inside the 10 story building with the interior described as completely devastated. The blast occurred amid Damascus violence as forces clash with rebels in Hama.
The Rev. Bob Shahan says wearing a collar on flights scares some people or invites chat from others. John Bryan shared remarks at the Senior Men's Club about money saved for a rainy day buying a smaller umbrella.
