Principal Rosie Berry notes 580 students and cramped spaces at PKMS including library cafeteria and classrooms. Leaks, hot gym, and aging plumbing plague the site set among forested land owned by the district. Board member Sheran Proctor considers renovation or new build. Namesake Paul Knox, now 96, is a longtime district figure associated with the school.
