City to discuss merit increase at public budget session
Aiken City staff will present multiple items at a 5 p.m. budget work session in the Municipal Building room 204 on 214 Park Ave. The agenda includes a potential 3 percent raise for 2014-15, split as 1.5 percent cost of living and up to 3 percent merit. If all receive the full merit, salaries would rise by about $467,700.
