Sheriff Vehicle Involved In South Carolina Crash
A sheriff’s department vehicle was involved in a Saturday afternoon traffic accident on Old Edgefield Road South Carolina ByPass 25. The Sheriff’s Office and the State Highway Patrol declined to release details noting the incident was handled by the patrol and that information is not released for sheriff’s department crashes. The responding trooper Rodger Edmonds could not be reached for comment. The call came in at 1:50 p.m.

17 Year Old Charged After Hitting Youth
Dana Jefferson Hansen 17 of Augusta was charged with passing a stopped school bus after his pickup struck a five year old boy crossing U S 278 in front of a school bus. Michael Bush was transported to the Medical College of Georgia by Life Bird after the 3 15 p m accident in the Talatha area of Aiken County. Bush remained in critical condition late yesterday per a MCG spokesperson.
