Longtime foster parents in Aiken spark community love

Tom and Barbara Bryant fostered 45 children from 1973 to 1980 including three adoptions while raising them in a 15 room, 250 year old home on seven and a half acres. They fed, clothed, and cared for kids with no family background, holding daily meals and weekly powwows to resolve conflicts. The couple, honored by Maryland’s governor in 1980, emphasize love and stability as core values. Sponsored by FAMCO of Aiken.
