Jury weighs death sentence in Hill case after brutal DSS killings
Prosecutors portrayed David Hill’s 1996 rampage that killed Jimmy Riddle Josie Curry and Michael Gregory as a deadly act amid a custody dispute. Defense countered with mitigation while presenting Hill’s life troubles and seeking life imprisonment. Witnesses described the violence at the DSS North Augusta office and the impact on families.
