Aiken council debates Northland cable rate increase
Aiken resident Ray Glinski challenged a 49 percent rate rise by Northland Cable to city leaders. Northland VP Lee Johnson outlined increases that could have raised extended basic service pricing to 46.41 dollars, versus the new 34.04, with about 15 000 subscribers in the area. Councilors said they would not oppose the deal despite concerns about future hikes.
