Further Action Frozen In Barnwell Sex Case
Barnwell County grand jury reports no further action can be taken against Billy Joe Stewart and Gloria Jean Hair after plea bargaining settled 20 sex related charges involving four Blackville girls aged 12 to 16. Hair received 60 days and Stewart three months after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors. A victim’s family has filed a 250000 suit.
