One-person show by Augustan Sadie OConnor features banks and handmade and hand cast paper works. Displayed in the Student Activity Center at USC Aiken, the exhibit runs weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Feb 14 with a public lecture and demonstration Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Classroom Building room 103.
The Aiken Bamberg Barnwell Edgefield Library System received a $19 366 29 Library Development Grant to buy juvenile and adult books in science technology music art literature geography and history. Funds will replace worn titles in participating Aiken County Public Library New Ellenton North Augusta Wagener Branch and Bookmobile services.
Week of February 11 to 15 offers a daily lunch menu with items such as Baked beans shredded cabbage slaw and milk on Monday Chic bits with unit sauce corn pineapple cheese salad hot biscuits and milk on Tuesday Old fashioned barbecue potatoes string beans peach slices heated bun and milk on Wednesday Heartstrings and treats theme on Thursday and a fish sandwich with tartar sauce french fries and fruit cup on Friday ending with peanut butter chewy and milk
The Aiken Civic Ballet will sell cookies and punch Monday through Friday 3 15 to 5 at the Crosby School of Dance Greenville Street. Proceeds buy spring costumes. The Daughters of the American Revolution Liberty Love Day Friday supports Statue of Liberty restoration efforts. Local Henry Middleton Chapter joins with members and non members to raise funds. The Busy Beavers 4-H Club meets at Arlene Usher’s home and the North Augusta Electric 4-H Club gathers Monday at 4 pm.
A collage of local updates includes the 4 H Horse Club meeting in North Augusta on Monday at 7 p m, a Wednesday Lunch Series talk by Barry Cooper in Barnwell, and a $2 lunch option at First Presbyterian Church. Also announced are dances at Belvedere Women’s Club, Knights of Columbus mage sale at St Mary Help of Christians School, and various club meetings with speakers on topics from women in church to social activities.
The Henry Glenn Chapter No 935 of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Crosland Park Senior Citizen's Clubhouse. Discussions cover chapter and federation constitution changes, state convention, and progress of proposed changes. Retirees and employees with five or more years of service are welcome.

The Sigma Pi chapter of Omega Psi Phi sponsors its fourth annual Talent Hunt at USC Aiken in the Administration Building room 107. The event on Sunday at 4 p.m. features high school students performing in classical arts. Public invited with no admission fee.
