Mystery School Photo Identified as Aiken High Grad Carole Fowler

A found school portrait tucked in The Wonderful World of Mathematics book led to the identification of Carole Brown Fowler, class of 1968 at Aiken High School, as the woman in the robe. The book, acquired at an AAUW Books N Things Fair, sparked community tips and several emails to the Aiken Standard. Fowler, now an area resident, traced family memories and recalled teacher Butler, the French instructor and homeroom, while Lane Brown, her brother, is a 1959 Aiken High graduate.
