Cats stars and crowds mark Edgefield filming location
Aiken and Edgefield hosted filming for a movie featuring Christina Ricci Doug E Doug and Elvis the cat. More than 4,000 SC and GA residents sought parts, with 1,200 extras chosen. Large crowds gathered for the climactic gas station explosion. Final showtime to be announced after 6 pm Tuesday.
