Oconee Principal Pleads Guilty in Fatal DUI Case
Hollis Middle School principal Larry Eugene Epps pleaded guilty to two counts of felony driving under the influence after a fatal crash on U S Highway 76 north of Seneca. Circuit Judge Frank Eppes sentenced him to 15 years, suspended to five years in prison and five years probation, with a $15,000 fine and $100 monthly restitution to the victim’s family for five years. Lonnie Elizabeth Roach, 52, of Valhalla, died in the Sept 23 collision.
