Defense likely to center on deceased brother in Tsarnaev case

The Boston Marathon bombing defense may focus on elder brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev as a key influence and possible participant in a 2011 triple slaying. Dzhokhar’s lawyers are expected to argue the surviving brother shaped his actions while noting Tamerlan’s role as a radical figure and boxing student. Police say the 2013 attack near the finish line killed three and injured over 260.
