Hiker killer sentenced to life in prison

NJROTC instructor to retire after 17 years at Midland Valley

Rollover crash claims life of Aiken County man
A 27 year old man from Aiken County died in a single vehicle rollover on Highway 278 toward Beech Island. The 1993 Toyota Camry left the eastbound lane, overturned more than five times, and the driver was ejected. He was not wearing a seat belt. Speed may have been a factor. toxicology results pending. This is the third fatal crash in Aiken County this year.
