Dwight Bradham, a 32 year SC National Guard veteran with two overseas tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, is set to replace Jim Harris as Aiken County Veterans Affairs Officer mid January. Bradham, 51, formerly an employment adviser for military job seekers, was one of 73 candidates and is praised by Sen. Tom Young as the best fit. He led agribusiness projects in Helmand Province and earned the Bronze Star for development work and soy bean introduction to Afghan agriculture.
