McCormick County case involved three dogs found with muzzles taped shut after neighbor complaints. The animals were rescued from the McCormick County Humane Society and sheriff's department and sent to SPCA Albrecht Center in Aiken where two dogs found homes by August. The former owner faced animal cruelty charges per local media reports.
