Passenger charged in fatal Christmas crash case
Tiffany Grimes faces warrants for third degree assault and battery and shoplifting as a result of a Walmart theft attempt that led to a high speed chase and a multi car collision on East Pine Log Road. Driver Lucinda Randolph died from injuries. Grimes medical status unknown. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Woman assaults boyfriend over weed and pregnancy claim
A Warrenville man declined to press charges after his 20 year old girlfriend threw a tricycle at him when he wouldn’t buy marijuana. The couple argued at a Joes Park Road home about 1 pm Sunday. no one was struck, but the man pushed her when she tried to take the license tag. The woman, mother of his children, is possibly pregnant.

Woman reports purse theft at Beech Island motel
A 32 year old Beech Island woman told deputies her purse vanished at a motel after meeting a man at a diner. She said the group left quickly after she asked for no sex, and the scene involved two other men as suspects. The purse contained a $50 Obama cellphone, a $900 tablet, and about $10 in cosmetics.
