Assault at North Augusta bar leads to warrants
Deputies plan warrants on multiple charges after a man allegedly assaulted another with a silver pistol at a Bradleyville Road bar in North Augusta around 3 50 a m A witness and a second man at the front door were present during the incident. Victoria Tooks 25 faces shoplifting charges after attempting to steal from Walmart with a child in tow. Walter Powell 69 was charged with shoplifting after taking items at Walmart on Whiskey Road.

Brooks tied to securities fraud and unregistered sales case
The complaint targets Jay Brooks and High Street Securities for alleged securities fraud and poor supervision. Brooks faces two counts of securities fraud one forgery and a violation of the Securities Act after being fired in November.
