Graniteville Summer House Restored In Cemetery Rededication
The Horse Creek Historical Society capped a year-long restoration with a Graniteville Cemetery summer house rededication. Graniteville native Attorney Robert Bell recalled its 150 plus years of history on Canal Street as guests recalled childhood memories. Community support funded the project with local businesses, Calvary Baptist Outreach carpentry, and Everett Johnson Roofing. The ceremony included the annual Christmas Candle Lighting with Napier Funeral Home luminaries marking times past.
