Gas prices rise across South Carolina this Christmas
Gasoline costs are higher this season with a state average near $1.20 a gallon, about 32 cents more than last year. AAA Carolinas President David E. Parsons notes the trend as 1.4 million motorists are expected to travel for the holidays, while travel days drop by about 37,000 from last year.
