Food dispute ends in fatal subway stabbing

In New York City a homeless man was stabbed to death in a subway station after a dispute over a turkey leg. Transit police say Vincent G. Williams, 59, used a 10 inch knife to stab the victim in the waiting area. no immediate identity was released for the deceased. The incident occurred Friday and involved no reported words exchanged before the stabbing.

The charity bought 40,000 dollars worth of goods. total donations reached 56,008 dollars with 17,100 from kettles and 16,000 letters. Kettle efforts lagged behind last year due to weather and volunteer shortages.
